Slash Body Protection
How do I protect my Slash's body? Would electrical tape or duct tape work?

Shoe Goo repairs cracks on the inside.:):tire:

I tried some fiberglass reinforced tape where the front and rear tires wear on the body. The rear held up well but the fronts wore through the tape and started taking paint off the body. So I found some plastic (I used the dividers from those multi-compartment boxes) and bent it so it matched the contour of the body where the front wheels rub. I taped it on using the fiberglass tape. The tape is worn through, but the plastic is holding up so far.

100 mile an hour tape/cloth tape/race tape - It probably has other names aswell but that is what you want

I think you need to add 15mm of fuel tubing to your shock shafts, get your tires to stop rubbing the body. Problem solved.

drift buggy is right.. race tape/
you can also shoe goo some old lexan pieces in where the trouble spot is. |
Slash Body protection
I use 2 layers of shoe goo, works great. Where the tires would hit, and also where the back of the cab transitions down, tends to crack there.:nod:
