ok thanks ill try it

I run mine with the stock 81 tooth spur... and 20-24 pinion. It can pull a tall gear easy... so gear it for the top speed you want.

sweet thanks ill try both i might like the 81 better ill see thanks
for your help:nod: |
The cool thing about these 4600 and 5700 motors is that RPM and Torque is almost independent now. There is more then enough RPM and Torque to gear it anyway you like. Of course, I'm not talking about the extremes, like a 78T with 30T pinion
Anything from 18 to 21T pinion would work fine in the B4, it doesn't really matter anyways, unless you're running on a large track with long straightaways, you'd be hardpressed to open up your throttle fully! I run my B44 on a medium-sized track, and I use full throttle on my ride about 10% of the time, rest of the time, I'm throttling 20 to 40%, there's just too much power in these brushless! |
Yup! Same scenario here! My 6900kv MM in my B44 is simply way more than I need (but it's way fun!!!). I'm really gunning it for maybe 10-15% of my lap time. But I love it nevertheless...

Porkey I geared my T4 at the suggested 19/78 and it was WAY too fast for the track size; could not use full throttle at all. Dropped back to 15/78 and it was a lot more manageable. Good luck to you!!!!
