Hey thats pretty neat. Wish RTR cars would come with a LVC built into the speedo's though since so many people are using LIPO's.

This is a product that hobby shops should be able to sell this Christmas. It is going to be way way better than a Radio Shack car at a reasonable price. I think it is great that Losi is bringing stuff out to bridge the gap from toy to real rc.
They are definitely going after Traxxas piece of the pie.

Doesnt anyone see it?

There is a huge RTR crowd now. For the people who get the Desert Truck or Highroller, they will get the xxx-cr over the b4, the xxx-nt over the gt2, the lst2 over the Revo, the 8ight over the rc8, get the point?

And with all the money Losi is making now they can spend it on R&D for race models.

So for all those people who think Losi wont make any more race cars,

not just now, if half the people who buy RTR kits actually came back to the track and raced them, the level of competition in racing would be thru the roof. IMO, I'd throw a number anywhere between 50-80% of RTRs, or any R/C surface kit purchased for that matter, never see a racetrack. They are used to chase the neighborhood cats, pass the time when work gets slow, crawl over rocks out in the yard, etc etc.

A small percentage of them will come back, see the passion and intensity that you guys and I put into the racing side, and they'll then drop the coin to get involved on the scale where most RCTech-land users are currently. But the majority keep themselves happily occupied with RTR's. Which only helps development of every Losi product in the long run...

That happens to anything not Losi or AE up here all the time. Its just losi turn. It does look a little like it may be weak but I think it would be a cool truck to sit along side my Stampedes.

What a LETDOWN! C'mon now Losi, youre better than that. Its real sad when the shocks are by FAR the best looking thing on a truck. Im a HUGE Losi fan, but that truck is fugly.

They should be able to take that chassis, and make a truck in the dimensions of the slash. That chassis looks alot like a traxxas stampede.

I agree. The 1st thing that popped out were the shocks.

Look at one of the pictures on the front arm , is that a screw in hinge pin their using. instead of the e-clip/pin system?
