Yeah, we still love our Sprint Cars, occasional Dominators, novice stock oval, etc etc. The only problem with the setup is that the oval is slightly banked and all the rain water tends to run down and collect on the offroad track. We do have a drain down in the middle of the track, which sometimes works (lol)

All in all, though, it's a great setup because it allows virtually anyone to run any type of car.

here is a pic of my dirt track in my backyard. We have no local club here.We used to , but it was taken out in the early 90's due to a lawsuit. So now 5 or 6 of my buddies and I usually try to run at least 1 night a week in my backyard. We have a drivers stand and lights, but no scoring. So it's really just to keep us in practice for the series races we run which are usually about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away.

The track is in a county park with a wide open expanse around it and a few plane guys come and fly their stuff there. One of the plane guys strapped his digital camera onto the wing of one of his planes and a servo to operate the shutter from his radio and took a bunch of random pics from way up there and e-mailed them to me.

I should have my track finished up here in a month or so. Just got to wait for my brother to get home and do some tractor work.
