Orion Vortex 7.5 motor any reviews yet
 

I am interested in getting the new Orion Vortex for Losi XXX-T CR with a LRP Sphere TC ESC. Has any body used this motor yet? How is the performance. I am changing from a Mamba 5700.

Or has anybody got the same motor and ESC setup, how do you like it.

well if you're switching from the mamba anything you get will make you happy. i have the motor but havent ran it yet. i also have the 10.5 and i love it. i think its smoother and a touch faster than the old one i have...

vortex are the best brushless motors that I have tried.

I do like my novak 4300 sintered though. I´m running it in my xxxcr with a super small 78 spur and a ****29**** tooth pinion. and it's crazy. and very little heat. it's nutz.

Go with the novak 7.5 man i can't wait to rip the 2008 vortex race 7.5 out of my 4wd and put my 07 vortex 7.5 back in. It feels like a Velociti L motor.

I don't like your new vortex 7.5

I think the new one sucks, It's down on power compared to the first vortex. I used Gweeds and i can't stand it i can't wait to put my old vortex back in.

I reccomend a Novak for sure ! I have have 2 vortex motors and they are good but the Novak is better and the new vortex race 7.5 isn't my cup a tea.

i dont have the 7.5 but i do use the 5.5 and it is hands down the best smoothest fastet motor ive ran and i do use it with the sphere esc. it also runs real cool also.

I definately like the Orion stuff, try it...you wont be dissapointed.

I have about 250-300 packs through my 7.5 and it still flips over backwards without even moving. Has worked flawless since day one.
