You can have the antenna stick out of one of the bottom holes. Or you can cut your own tiny hole with a drill bit or X-acto knife on the top, to have the antenna sticking out wherever you prefer.

Default Body for a D8 Conversion

I was just wondering what people would recommend for a body on the D8 Tekno Conversion buggy. The stock body or any aftermarket bodies?????

Thanks,

Hey everybody,

Just an FYI, we'll be at the new WCRC (http://www.westcoastrcraceway.com/) this Wednesday checking out the new indoor track in the LA area. We'll have some new things to show too. If you're in the area, come check it out. Practice all day, race at night.

I think the plastic spur gears are more trouble than the metal.

If you need to change, try the Losi one. It will fit 1.0.

The original gear is 48t and you seem to want a 44t, but Losi also sells a 45t plastic spur gear that you may want to consider.

Good Luck!

Hey guys, I just got my new 3 shoe clutch adapter. Very nice design.

Do I just use standard nitro shoes and springs or are there special one that I need to use???

We designed it to use standard nitro shoes and springs (HB, Kyosho, OFNA, Mugen, etc.). However, we do offer some thin springs to tune the engagement. Using standard nitro springs (1.0+) will give you more lag at low RPM's. The 0.7mm springs are almost instantaneous and feel more like clutch/direct drive hybrid. We use the .8mm springs for the most part, but if the track is really loose, we'll use .9's

tekno,

I have a Tekno RC8 and I'm using the stock 44T spur. Can I use a larger spur like the 46T?
