Just thought you CRT.5 guys may like to check out this for sale add since there's a couple of them. I know parts are getting harder to find, so you may have some interest.

***Pix have been added, there's a TON of parts including a BCE milled chassis that come with this, the e-conversion roller as well as about enough parts to build almost another 1 1/2 cars. 6 bodies (3 unpainted) and just too much to list, but pix of it all are in the thread. All for only $150 + shipping!!!

What are the body options for this I am not feeling the stock body. I know JC Concepts makes a body but what else would fit it with the extended chassis?

Default Brushless question

Question for the fellow CRT.5 brushless bashers,

I'm currently running a Novak GTB with a Novak Ballistic 4.5 550 can motor in my CRT. The truck has 2.2 Gladiators and the RCM extended chassis. Not a massive heavy truck but a bit more than stock. It's geared 12/46, being powered by a Reedy 7.4v 20C 5000mah battery.

My question is: I had a 11 tooth in the truck originally and was seeing temps of about 120 on the ESC and 80 on the motor. Asked a fellow racer his opinion and he told me to go up a tooth on the pinion to prevent the ESC having to work so hard at top speed. The 12 tooth made a bit of a difference ( Lots of torque, no matter what pinion) but was still seeing the higher temps on my ESC. Is my battery holding back the systems performance? Would a Higher "C" rating solve my ESC's warming condition. I have a feeling the ESC is pulling hard from the lower C battery to be able to provide enough burst to the high torque system.

Any advice would be apperciated.
Thanks.
