Secrets to RC

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but try putting shrink wrap around where the holes are. I have to do this for my Losi LCD's, cause those things used to ALWAYS come apart.

You can also try grinding a small flat spot where the set screw meets the pin.

Don't know if this had been mentioned but, buy exactly what you think you will need and want. Do not cheap out. If you cannot afford it, wait a week. I know I have bought all sorts of items where I thought I would save a buck just to go buy the better one later.

Well what he forgot to add is you do it with losi especially BK bars tires not all tires. I could see how you might be confused.
I have flamed panther switchs. I wouldn't dare flame a holeshot or inside job sorta tire.
but losi pink and red compounds for sure.
Yo BrYan why you telling the tire secret on r/c tech.LOLz
Anyway you do like he said spin the tire on a wrench and spray alittle motorspray on and light it. Get the heat in and rub some death grip or zipfree in with a toothbrush especially when they are new.
Makes them like gooey gumballs and provide excellent traction on wet clay. We do this in the winter at our indoor track. You all should check our place out every now and again.

Everytime I change any setup on my car, the first few laps, I'm going real slow to get a handle of the line and how the car behaves on that line. There are too many people, during bashing, that are more concerned about how fast they go then how well it runs... I personally do not like working on my car, so going a tad bit slower for less repairs at the track is my secret to having fun!
I can totally think of ways where flaming up the tires can be fun off the track. Just need someone to pitch and a baseball bat!

Nobody cares what you use, It's a R/c "secret". Not off topic. I wouldn't leave a negative reference in this thread to something that werks....
Bryan, you and brandon should make a youtube video of how to flame a losi tire. Then show them how soft and grippy they get.
