Anyway at ALL to upgrade steering on a Rustler?

I can't find a beefier servo saver or anything of the like. My 7 year old racers a Rustler and I'm having problems with the servo saver stripping on the servo gear. It first started when I tried to upgrade it to a Hitec servo, none of the inserts would work.

So I put the stock servo back in and it's run fine up until today. Is there a servo saver from a better, 'pro' truck that will fit a rustler with little mods?

Get the large Kimbrough servo saver that is black. It is the heavy duty "gas" version they sell. It comes with inserts for all brands. However, only use this servo saver with a metal geared servo. It has a very strong spring and will strip a plastic geared servo.

Gubbs has got it,

Here is a link to the one he is talking about.

One more thing, the traxxas servo saver does not come with a insert to fit Hitec servos. The kimbrogh does:)

Very nice guys, I would have never been able to find that. Thx!

I have four of those servo savers; they're fantastic. You do run the rusk of stripping a plastic geared servo using it, though.
