Default new guy here

hey whats up guys im just getting into racing i bought a rtr desert truck little did i know that was not the way to go .I have already changed the shock towers bumbers and body to the xxx/t style and put a monster 15t with a taser 12t speed controller. Im i heading in the right direction for the novice class?


p.s running a orion maxx 2400 battery

Yo i have no idea what truck that is but you should of looked into it a little bit more you probably should of got a t4 or xxxt cr but it doesnt matter when you first start out when you start racing competitively you might want to get one of those trucks. the best batteries are the orion sho 4200 they work amazing and they are very realiable.. have fun and enjoy this hobby...

its losi new dersert truck its the same as a xxx t just they put lights and a roll bar on it thats what i heard cause everything from the xxxt fits.

he is just a rookie. Getting a rtr in a sportsmen class is the best wall to go.

correct, as he might want to consider moving to the next class up? a new truck would be needed most likely to stay competitive.
