Default 8 cell in a stampede

I just bought an 8-cell NiMH pack for my xl-5 stampede. Do you think i'll burn up my motor, and/or speed controller? What if i put in a modified motor?

the stock titan will most likely fry with that battery. an aftermarket motor could handle it though.

titan is an iffy motor, upgrade to a different motor and id say there would be a better outcome.
