Stainless is heavier than steel, titanium is lightest and strongest but titanium has a rougher surface which will wear on your parts more and the suspension will not be as free or smooth. Stainless is weaker than steel, it sounds like you'll just be bashing around most of the time so I'd say get titanium b/c they are stronger. If you have steel ones in there now you can just chuck them into a dremel and polish them unless if they are bent, nothing wrong with the steel pins and not really needed unless you bend them or can't find better spots to take weight off of a car.

does titanium bond to aluminum?

i would stick with stock BUT in the rear they use screws and they wont stay in so my solution to not have to worry about it and have sus. that moves more freely is to put some hinge pins in.
