Threaded Shocks?

I would need to measure a B-3 shock and see if they fit , why not just use the B-3 shocks ?

Thanks for the responds
the reason I ask is b/c the OE B3 shocks are clamping style which work if they weren't worn out, secondly they could use a rebuild but why invest in that technology with I feel the threaded holds the setting better.
Am I wrong to think that or could a fresh clamp do the same job as reliable as the threaded?
It’s an old car so I don't feel like dump'n much cash into it especially since it’s just a 2nd class to race in.
thanks for the recommendations btw
