B-Fast RC Performance Diff Parts for LOSI AND ASSOCIATED
This is a shameless plug for a great company!
But seriously, if you're looking to build the smoothest diff possible check out this site. A lot of you may already give your rings a little "massaging" but for those of you who want to purchase rings that have already been worked, check this out. Plus they purchase higher grade carbide balls with tighter tolerances and sell them CHEAPER than what hobbyshops sell for. You can also get a quality caged thrust bearing, a set of rings, and balls for about $20.
--- Please, I'm not trying to start a discussion on the quality of the diff parts that come with the kits, I'm just making this company known to a lot of racers. Thanks for looking.

Spend the extra $$ on the thrust bearing, it will be the smoothest diff you have ever built.
The thrust bearing is often the cause of that gritty feeling diff. Sadly it is too often overlooked during a diff rebuild. If you are replacing the rings and balls in you diff, do youself a favor and change that thrust bearing. You will be glad you did.
Nice thread here i am going to have to try these out. So you all have had good luck with them? Thanks.
It's easier to build a smoother diff with these rings but I notice that they're easier to break in and the diffs last longer. I still rebuild mine all the time just to clean and regrease, but I'm noticing a longer timespan before any wear is apparent. Considering if you buy from somewhere else, you're going to have at least $10 in the carbide balls plus the cost of the thrust bearing and rings... it's almost the same price, plus the free shipping definitely makes it worthy of a test. If you try them, post on here what you thought of them.
