Traxxas E-maxx

To start off with I'm new to this forum and just want to ask a couple questions about my emaxx. I just got it and it has a blown EVX speed controller. Should I just upgrade to the EVX-2 or by a novak system or something like that? What kind of systems can i get without going brushless?:tire:

novak makes the gtx which is a great brushed esc. gtb goes brushed and brushless. i know nothing about a evx speedo or w/e you said. novak have everything to cover your electronic needs (esc's recievers and bl motors)

Those are 540 motors you want a 550

Like the HV-Maxx Brushless System for Novak

"not home" sounds like a Novak salesman, but the information is horrible. "Drifting 101" is on the mark. If you want to stick with Novak, the HV Maxx system is perfect for EMaxx. I recommend the 6.5. If you want to go faster, the HV Maxx 4.5 is not the answer. It runs too hot. A speedier setup that runs cool, would be the CC Mamba Max and a Neu 1515 1.5d/f motor.

Actualy the Monster Mamba Max system or esc with a NEU motor would be better

And "Not Home" Please stop giving wrong info to people, know your stuff before you give advice dude, some day your advice will waste someone else money:rolleyes:

Both ESCs you mention won`t work on an Emaxx as they will only take up to 6 cells . His Emaxx takes 12 cells at the minimum and the new Emaxx can take 12 or 14 cells . Do your homework before giving advice .

Now if you decide to go Novak the Super Duty XR will work or the HV High-Voltage Brushless ESC will work if you want to go brushless . And if I remember correctly Novak makes the Traxxas EVX line so going to a EVX-2 would be a way to go also .
