Hi Rick,

I'm glad the X 60 is feeling good for you. I hope to see you out at CRCRC in January, I'm planning on hitting that race up once again this year.

Setup- After some extensive testing I have a setup that I would like to describe as my favorite "stock setup." I'm at OCRC Raceway right now working on it and thought I'd post it up here to see if others found it useful.

Front: *Shocks are Associated

Shock oil- 30wt
Pistons- AE #2
Spring- Silver
Shock Position- Inside on arm, middle in tower
Camber link- Outside on bulkhead/ Outside on hub (furthest inside the wheel)
Weight- 1/2oz under shock tower

Rear:

Shock oil- 32.5wt
Pistons- AE #1
Spring- Green
Shock Position- Next to inside on arm, next to inside on tower
Camber link- Inside on bulkhead, middle hole in hub
Hub Spacing- Center
Weight- 3/4oz in pocket underneath motor

If you're looking for any added info just let me know.

Happy Racing

Jeremy

Chris- I'm not sure yet, my decision will come down to my working situation. What tires are you guys running out there?

P.S. The truck feels heroic right now.

Hope you can make it out. We aren't making it out to CRCRC this year since we'll be in Upper Michigan for Christmas.

As far as tires go, traditional dry track tires work. Taper pins with red rear and silver front. Having said that, many tires have worked. Alex has been running narrowed Edge fronts with JConcepts Goosebumps in the rear. I've been running front edge and rear Bowties. Kinwald has been known to run Holeshots all around. None of that slicks with diesel stuff anymore.

Paul- Speedy is right, I'm running lipo in the truck. I'm actually at the track right now doing some clean up and I'm going to test a softer rear spring. I've dropped my shock oil wt quite a bit since I first started running the truck and I think a softer spring may work better....it's tough to say though, because this thing is workin great.

Talk to you soon,

Jeremy

Hey guys, I have a small change to make to the setup. I went to softer springs (green AE front/ Black AE rear) and it was quite a bit better.

I seen one of the prototype X-6T truck the other day, and it looked nice. Although I didn't get to see how it drove as I was in the same race as them (mod truck)
