One more question, I currently have a team edition T4. I know the hot setup on the T4's, though I haven't tryed it, is using the GT2 front bulk/arms and towers, due to a slight change in geomentry and slightly better durability. Have any of you tryed this?
My truck is currently running the arms and steering knuckles and I have had a tower on there too. There is a change in the geometry?

Yeah, can't wait to get mine to paint it. For those out in the LA area, you might be able to get a sneak peak at the Reedy truck race this weekend. There will be three of the new production prototypes there and possibly one will have the new body.
There might just be 3 bodies there on Friday

I do not know for sure that there is, some that have tryed it say it's better on the T4, not sure if it will work on the X-60. I personally haven't had troubles with stock setup, break an arm every once in a while
I'm about 99% sure that there is no change in geometry, only a change in the plastic. The GT2 hubs do have an extra outer camberlink hole, a 'C' hole if you will, but the inner two holes are the same. I've been running mostly GT2 stuff on the front of my X - 60 for a while, and in fact I'm running GT2 spindles on my X - 6.

The geometry change between the GT2 and T4 front ends is at the inside camber link location on the shock tower. The GT2 location is lower and requires about 2 brass spacers to return it to the T4 height.

Sorry guys, the USPS screwed us over and the bodies didn't arrive on saturday as they had promised us. We still aren't 100% sure where they are.
They team did pretty good. We represented in all electric classes except regular mod. I put my old hand-built proto X-60 in the A main in rookie stock. Jeremy Felles put a production proto truck in the Factory Mod A main. We had a couple B mains and a C main. Alex probably would have been in higher mains if he and I hadn't arrived the day of qualifying and had to sort out the gearing as we went. By the end of the weekend, Alex's truck was pretty fast.

Well, like I posted before, most of the test bodies are MIA. We only have one that is not and it is not where a truck is. We need to put the two together to test the fit before we post anything up. That was the goal for the Reedy Truck race.
If all fits right, it will be worth the wait.
Soon.....
