Just checking but you are plugging in both the balancer and the main battery connections - correct?

I have the separate units and connecting the balance plug and main plug there is a specific process for it to check the battery.

Follow your directions!

My Hyperion balancer says
connect balance lead first
Connect main plug second
wait for solid green light on lipo siginal
press reset/mode button
solid green light will start flashing slow
balancer is active
now start the charger.

if I deviate from this process it will always fault out.

thanks for the help tdeal823...but i believe we have different models. i dont have a reset/mode button...a green light...or instructions even! my charger came with a paper saying they couldnt include a manual because of "time restraints". so im left trying to figure out wtf is going on.

i figured out my problem. i found the distributor for hyperion is Empire Hobbies in AZ. talked to a guy there and im missing the output cord. i have the hyperion adapter that the 2nd connector on the batter plugs in to...but i ALSO have to have the output cord going to my dean's plug. he said most chargers just go through that small connector...but this charger must use both.

so there u have it. ordered the cord and hopefully i can finally try out lipo by this weekend.
