For power. a plane motor is a bit smaller then a r/c car motor.

Definitly not happening on airplane batteries.

A lipo is a lipo - Airplane or car it makes no odds....

3 factors for consideration:

- Voltage - How many cells - 1s 3.7 2s 7.4 3s 11.1 etc etc - A buggy on 8XL 4s fine
- Capacity - MaH - Looking for at least 4000 up to 6000 in a buggy
- C rating - A measure of supportable amp draw...

Capacity * C rating = Amps

i.e. a 5000 mah pack with a 20c rating supports 100amps continuous.

This would be about the minimum on a 8xl ideally you'd be going to 125amps.

Lastly all lipo cells / manufacturers are not the same - some are more "optomistic" about there ratings than others - Enerland cells are very good - branded as neu, flightpower or Polyquest.

Yea granted, but generally airplanes use smaller and lighter batteries.

I'd go higher on the C and capacity with these:

Motor is a cheaper copy of a feigao.... Longer term the medusa at about 100 would be a much better investment...
