Would a 3 cell li-mh power a hyper 8 with a 8xl motor around 40mph?

You runtime willl by very short, and no matter the capacity 3S it's really short. That will push the battery to it's limit in term of amp draw.
Better goes for 4S on a 20/25 C battery
