because i am buying a team checkpoint lipo 5400 battery and i think that battery can only be balanced with that balancer right???

is there another way to balance the battery??

it doesnt look like it comes with that balancing tab.

balancers are pretty much the same , the only difference is the plugs , the balancer that comes with that charger will work fine , you will have to change the ends , the balancer has 5 wires 2 on one side get soldered to 4mill plug , 2 red ones get the same and the middle gets a 2 mill plug to the balance port , its just like the orion lipos , check there site for a better explaination and a picture , ray
