Glitching electronics problem for a XXX-T
 

So i have a XXX-T with some glitching problems and it could be a number of problems. The glitching can be described as low throttled spazzing, using half throttle it turns to different directions, short bursts of speed, just things to make me angry. I have a SMG 4600 battery, novak xmc 15 turn /w rev speed control, 19T check point money motor, and a cheep futaba Remote. Any ideas on how to fix glitches or what my problem could be please reply.

possible radio problems. if its just the motor and not the servo, then maybe motor rebuild time.

Have you tried replacing your radio and receiver crystals? Does the crystal fit in the receiver snug? It might be a longshot but I had that happen to me. The rx crystal had a little slop in the fit and that ended up being my glitching problem. Switched to another receiver and was fine, because the crystal fit properly and didn't have any play. Also, ziptie your motor wires together or twist them around each other to minimize "noise" between them.

Futaba AM radios are notoriously glitchy. Here are some quick free things to try before trading up to FM or Spektrum:
If your antannae has slop in it or isn't fully extended, that would cause glitching.
Hung brushes in your motor could also be the culprit, especially if your motor stutters. Clean motor, cut comm, replace brushes.
If it works up close but not from a distance, check to make sure your TX crystal is in the transmitter, Rx in the receiver. Charge or replace your transmitter batteries.
Check to make sure your servo, esc leads aren't crossing or touching your antanna lead wire.
If your XXXT has a graphite chassis and a sidexside battery is touching the strap or sliding in the tray, graphite is conductive material and can cause interference with AM electronics. Try lining your battery tray with electrical tape and bending the tabs up on the battery so they don't contact the strap.
