Default Tekin RS in Offroad! Q & A

Thought I'd photo's of the new RS in my new ride! Just got done with the paint. I'll post some setups both mine and a few of our team drivers(I'm sure they'll jump on board when they see this!).

Show us your installs, let us know what you think, ask questions. I will help as fast as I can.

When are these going to be available to the public? I've checked a couple of local hobby shops and they say mid June. Want to get one for my XXXT cr and was looking for the best motor/esc combo. What do you experts recommend? Thanks Keith

It depends on what class you run. If you don't run mod get the RS. It's smaller and weigh less. Our new sensored motors won't be out for a few more weeks or so.

They're in the hands of the public. The got swooped up really fast. Keep your eye out and you will find them. I was told that a few RS's are still out there to be had...

As you can see I run the RS in my XXX Cr.

Brian I'm sure it would! I'm just no able to get support from those guys! LOL. I'm not sponsored by losi either. My entire local track went AE recently. I was a diehard AE guy, but I also like being different. So I went to Losi. Hell has frozen over! If you can get me a hook up on Kyosho like I have on the Losi pm me!

Know what you mean about being different Randy. The XXX CR is a fine handling buggy. Really all of them are capable platforms. I am not sponsored by them either. LOL Not trying to get off topic here, the RS looks great in there.

So if I'm using this XXXT cr as kind of a learning experience for my dirt oval stuff and want to run mod I should just get an R1 Pro. Mostly run dirt oval mod sprint car and run also EDM with mod or stock. Want to get my feet wet learning brushless and it really looks like Tekin is back. I used to run only Tekin in my earlier racing but they kinda disappeared for awhile. So back to the point, If I'm running mod go ahead and get the R1 Pro and it will run anything I need. Thanks for the help. Keith

Keith,
Yes sir I would advise getting the R1Pro if your going to be running Mod Oval which can be hard on equipment.
Tekin is BACK with New Owners and alot of New Products.
Thanks for supporting them in the past as I did and only look forward to what the new ownership has in store for the future.
Goodluck racing and have a great summer.

I agree, pick up an R1 Pro and you will be very happy. If you're running mod I would start with the 448 motor in oval. I know you guys are nuts and the more power the better, but this will be a great "getting back into it" motor for mod. This motor is the most popular for 4wd mod so it should have plenty of get up.
