Default Need Body for RC10T. Original, aftermarket, etc.

HI! so I'm brand new to RC world and I'm trying to learn about it. My boyfriend (jeffembraceddc) gave me his old RC10T along with the task to get it back up to running conditions. I have everything so far, aside for the body. Tower hobbies says the original has been discontinued, so i am wondering if there are any after market bodies that would fit my new, but old truck!
Thanks alot,
Cassandra

Ahh the old RC10T. My first truck, still the ultimate weapon for Sportsman class racing due to its durability over modern stadium trucks.

It might take some creativity and a couple generic body post kits, but back when I raced my RC10T I was using Traxxas Rustler bodies (specifically Pro-Line's long-since discontinued '99 Chevy Silverado). They're very long and wide compared to bodies made for the RC10T4, XXX-T, etc., so you've got a lot of free play at your disposal to mount it low and level.

Have a look at these perhaps one of them will fit.

mcalister racing does make one, its not listed on their site, but if you contact them they will inform you. If I remember correctly it was like $18 + like $8 for shipping. I've modified a T4 body to fit mine, it does the job.
