XX-4 Class 8 truck bodies
A few of us have been discussing the old XX4 Class 8 truck bodies (LOSA8020) that Losi used to make. I for one would love to see the comeback of that body as Traxxas is doing the CORR style truck and a few tracks are talking about having a class just for the CORR trucks. Throw your pics up if you are running one still if ya feel like. If you agree throw you thoughts down here and maybe we can catch the attention of Losi and (knowing full well its a total longshot) try for another run of them.

I used to race class 8 and class 13 trucks for over 20 years with my family in the midwest (Wisconsin). I saw the traxxas truck and thought it was awesome. A 4wd kit version would be a must buy for me. If they create it, I WILL buy one, maybe more. (Gotta race with the kids.)
I'm a former SODA class 13, SODA class 8, SODA CORR WSORR stock truck, CORR Sportsman-2 and CORR Pro-2 truck owner, mechanic and driver. The big trucks were a huge rush, but the pocket book takes a MAJOR hit for those. That's why I'm doing RC with my kids.

The Losi XX 4 and the Traxxas don't line up well. The Traxxas seems to be a different scale. You might need to run two classes if you could bring the Losi back.

I had the conversion and one of the first released losi XX4s as well. It was the car I got back into RC with.
The problem that people reported with the class 8 body was that on the XX4 it turned the car into a kite off of jumps.
I think the traxxas will fair better though as there appears to be more chassis under the body versus the XX4.
I would like to try the class as I really like the scale of the Corr truck, but, with the way things are right now here, I don't think it will be popular. Truggies and Buggies are pretty much it here.

The thoughts behind this post and our wanting another run of bodies wasn't to have the classes mix, or for really a practical reason at this point. We were just talking about how cool they were and think it would be great if a run could be made again. Again this is kinda a thing were if you would want one, still run one or just think its cool throw up a post and see where it goes.

You might try contacting J Concepts and see if they might consider doing a body. Their stuff is very nice. I don't know what bodies they have on the drawing board currently. They just released a crawler body in the last few weeks. It is slick.

Now that is a good idea
Jconcepts is an up and comming company with alot of innovations
They can make it for the B44 and have body posts for diff 4wd (like the xx4)
with the popularity of 4wd nowadays it will be fun to race 4wd on sun and
4wd classic body on wed for some relaxed racing
Hope Jconcepts is reading this thread

I have some lines in the water about this original body, so we'll see what becomes of it. I have a couple NIB body mount kits, too. Hope I will finally be able to get to use them.
Anyone remember that Toyota SR5 widebody that Associated used to make?
