Default new car/new experiments

hey i dnont come in electric section much im more into nitro 8th scale but iv been thinking about building a 10thscale 4wd brushless set up. i have never experimented with brushless so if you guys could please tell me the best car for this and maybe some motor / esc and battery set ups maybe some links?... any help is appricated

B44 with a sensored brushless system is a good start...

These cars are just excellent quality and the shock dampers are second to none in this price range !

ok so lets say i dont want to spend money on lipos and lipo chargers are there any advagtages to going with the saddles? and are they just nickle metalhydrade? and how big?

smc has i think 4900mah lipo saddles, trakpower has 4800 saddles....

from what i understand saddles tend to give better balance. sticks put the weight all on one side and you hope your electronics equal it out well enough.


yes nimh....and as big as you can afford....least thats what i would get as your going to be running a very low turn motor (4wd runs a good bit lower than 2wd) and its going to pull more juice...

also, which kyosho and how much is that? im diggin the "mid" motor and saddle setup.

369.99 and worth every penny. It's a bit different then the SP. I have owned both.

unless u can find a new xx4WE and some spare parts, go with the 44 on trakpowers. BL wise, well guess would be a LRP on ur choice of motor. that or a castle setup (will end up being legal in 2009). no more than a 5700 there, even a 4600 would be a good thing. only holdup is that castle has to make their motors servicable (ie roar can look inside). castle is ready for this and the stuff will be out there soon. all dependin on what u wanna do.
