Default Trimming Foam Inserts

I just picked up some Panther Switch tires in the clay compound and firm Bomb One foam inserts. Should I trim the Bomb One inserts the same I would the stock ones (Ive been trimming about a 45 degree angle from the inside edge)? Is it necessary to even trim them at all? I run a XXXT on an indoor hard packed track. Thanks for your help.

It's my belief that when inserts collapse it's a viral thing, i.e., when one area of the foam breaks down, over time it grows through the rest of the foam. So I always trim the outside corners of my truck foams, since where the sidewall meets the carcass has a bit of curve to it I don't want to get that edge pinched.

But that's just me
