Default What Electric Truck should I get

What is the toughest most reliable off road electric vehicle to buy? I purchased the Mini LST2 several months ago and I have had nothing but trouble. Every time I take it out something breaks or needs to be adjusted. I have almost put in as much to fix the truck as it cost to buy. I do not mind doing some maintenance but I only get 20 min of run time and 1 hour of fixing. I would like a off road electric truck/buggy/truggy it does not matter as long as it is tough can take small jumps and spills without falling apart or breaking. It can be any scale and does not have to go 75 mph I am just tired of fixing my LST2 every time I take it out. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you for the help.

i only run associated , but will admit losi is real good , thiese are for racing , yes they can just be played with , but if your not going to race i would suggest something from traxxas , rustler , bandit , stampede , really strong and easy to work on , also pretty cheap , just my thoughts , ray

if you plan on racing go with a good name brand truck like

team losi xxxt
team associated rc10t4

if your just bashing around the backyard go with a

traxxas stampede
rustler
bandit

they are good for bashing but there not the best racers it just depends on what your doing with it but go BRUSHLESS the best thing i think that had ever came to rc

I would probly steer clear of an associated or losi in terms of durabillity. Instead I think your best bet would be the new firestorm truck w/ the flux. It does have a few weaknesses, but having the bullet proof trans will take some of your worries away. it is also a very fast truck.

Im an AE guy, but for what your looking to do I would suggest Traxxas. They are very durable.

Traxxas E-Maxx is what you need.

associated and losi are going to be your best beat because they are stronger than most other cars and more solidly built.

plus parts are every ware!

If you plan on racing then I would pick up a team associated team edition truck. If it is just for bashing then pick up an e-max. If you are going to be racing then get a kit w/ a good set of tools so you will know the car top to bottom.

losi has a specifically designed 1/10th truck RTR with brushless, check it out if you are going to bash.

don't get the losi rtr if your looking to just bash. ball diffs are not very basher friendly. If you want a bl stadium truck then get the e-firestorm.
