running maxamps 2s 8000mah packs...however soon as i stack chips im gonna go with better batteries and i need more lipos anyway so i'll probably get some thunderpower or neu energy....


i saw the thread right after i posted lol...i feel like a noob...but oh well too late now...

Hey, hey, long time no talk! I sadly left the Mantis out of the stable also, but it's not too far away I was really looking to make it brushless, but funds were low and projects are a plenty. Did you make the motor mount or did you send the Mantis somewhere to get it sized up? Looks good, it should be a killer!

haha naw i had that mount for another project..but i never started the other project and didn't want to buy another piece so i hacked it up and measured myself for the most part it's ok but you can tell i am no machinist lol...thanks for the comments folks
