Question

maybe I'm just that dense...I thought that the 3 or 3.5 mm had to do with the diameter of the rod...not the thread size....But I called up lunsford and they said that the 3mm or 3.5mm IS the thread size. why would they have metric threads? oh well, so I guess that's my answer. Now I have to figure out which ones I have!

Metric threads are finer pitch so adjusting the camber will be more precise.
3mm is a just a tad larger then 4-40 as well. I would say the thread pitch is the best reason to go 3mm but it really does not matter a ton. You thread the plastic ball ends so they conform to what ever thread you have.

Reason I ask is that I had a random thought to pre-thread my ball cups before I put them on the turn-buckles...to make them easier to adjust once on the car. I find them rather tight during adjustment. The Losi White ones are pretty tight and I have bags and bags of them. I like the JConcepts ones but the shop is out of them so I'll go with the Losi's for now. But I thought that tapping the ball cups would make it go easier.
