ok this isnt really stupid but i have 3 questions on these following batteries

1. WHICH DO YOU RECOMEND?
2. (dum question #1) WHAT IS THE MAH FOR THESE BATTERIES? 4200MAH AND 4600MAH?
3. (the second dum question) WHATS THE VOLTAGE ON THESE BATTERIES? 7.2V?

Get rid of the Tamiya connectors and get the Deans. The Tamiya ones were not really meant for that type of current flow hence why they melted.

i agree about the tamiya connectors, they are junk. if they heat up they will melt. stick to deans connectors. as far as batteries, both are good the higher mah will increase your runtime slightly. i have some very cheap stick packs on sale, IB SC 4200'S HIGH DRAIN STICK PACKS. CHECK ON MY SITE AND THERE ARE LOTS OF OTHER THINGS ON THERE. PM me if you need help

if it was me i would get matched cells but for someone who does not race and just wants to have fun, then i would get a couple of cheaper batteries. all depends on what you want to do with RC.
