Yes, the rear wheels accept normal 2.2 truck tires.

I would love to use this, as my local track gets badly torn up by truggies.
But I don't want to have to switch makes to do it.
also, tire options? are there some?
thanks

I dont think we will offer a Losi kit for some time, if ever. The offset of the rear wheels creates a problem which would require an extensive kit. We will be offering more front tires in the future, and the rears are univeral.

Well thats a shame, hopefully it will grow in popularity and that will show him the light, haha.

Its not meant to run in the 1/8th buggy class. Its meant to allow your T4 a dual purpose as a truck and as a buggy which can run on 1/8th style tracks.

Can I ask why you need the 2 Factory Blue Titanium Turnbuckles, 1.775" for? As well as the ball cups? Also is the wing included in the kit?
Another thing the statement about racing in 2 classes with the same truck/buggy. It seems that the J82 would not fit legally in either class?
This maybe the reason I end up keeping my T4
|
Thanks! The turnbuckles go with the offset rear ballcups, and yes a wing will be included. In order to run it in Mod truck, you use the truck body and standard truck wheels. For the J82 class, you use the buggy body, wheels, tires, and wing.
We hope you do blow the dust off the old T4, haha.

Seriously, I'm not understanding the idea. If you want rough track handing, you got a truck. If you want precision control, you got a buggy. Simple as that.

The $80 is:
J82 body
1/10th Scale Ball Cups (black)
Groovy - 1/8th - 2wd front, green (fits 2.2" buggy front wheel)
Double Dee's - green compound (fits 2.2" truck wheel)
Mono - J82 front wheel (white) - 2pc
Mono – J82 rear wheel (white) - 2pc
Factory Blue Titanium Turnbuckle, 1.775"
This allows you to race electric buggy at any track. I understand that not everyone is going to like it, but try it before you bash it.

Exactly right.
