Yeah, I can't believe what a difference it made. It just turns -- NOW!

I had one pad in front and two in the rear. I really need to go down a tooth or two next time...LOL...I had the same gear in it as @ pegasus (71/30) and it was getting pretty warm...but it was fast.

Same battery position I'm running. I really wish I could have gotten a feel for the black springs. My shock was blown and the bearing was shot, so the car felt REALLY vague... At the time, I thought it was the springs making it feel funny, but now I know better.

And I've got to learn to get used to the BL powerband. So strange!

That's what I'm still struggling with...just switched to brushless a couple weeks ago and that was only my third time out with it. It takes some getting used to, but I'm getting there. Had to increase my drag brake a bunch and fiddle with my radio a bit, to get comfortable.

I'm running a 17.5 in mine...Joe had a brushed motor (27T?) and I'm pretty sure that Kevin had a 17.5.

I can't wait to run it again this weekend.

That thing is turning into my "go-to" car. I know I can get around the track with it without any drama and it's pretty tough with all the GT-2 parts up front.

Joe -- you out there every Wednesday?

Yeah I'm gonna have to investigate the GT2 parts swap, I like the sound of increased durability...especially after last night

Yah I'm out there every Wednesday. I usually swing by Wed, Thurs, Sat, and Sun. Tues and Fri I'm up north at Kenon racing Mini-Z.

We're working on it. The new layout is going in this week, so it'll be a level playing field for everyone. I'd like to try a few more things before calling it good.

I'm actually considering going out to OC/RC on Wednesdays pretty regularly, now. The wife didn't seem to get too bent out of shape about the idea, so I might see how long I can enjoy her good graces. I'm going to race truck till the Reedy Race, but after that I'm going back to J82...so by then, I should be able to just leech the hot setup

I'll try and make it back out again. It's a long haul out there...longer for you though, so I won't whine too much. LOL
