I was just at my LHS and noticed how much longer the speed t was. i beleive this was brought up before but, my friend has a xxxt mF and a xxt cr and we believe the chassis could fit both of them. we could swap out the rear carrier for t4 carriers and cvds and run the conversion....we think. some creative body and wing mounting and we could have a true 1/8th 2wd. any thought

Support electric at your track!!
I just finished my XXT-CR/J82 this week. I hope to get some pictures up on Sunday. Till then I'll share some of the modifications I had to make. 1) I used nylon spacers on the front axles because the wheel nut was bottoming out and there was still some play in the wheel. 2) I used a XX-CR front chassis brace that has the front body mount....may not be necessary. 3) I used XX-4 wing mounts with 4-40x3/4" cap head screws and #4 nylon spacers to move the wing mounts back. Two spacers per screw. 4) Get creative with the body. I used the front XX-CR mount as I said before and velcro on the rear section of the chassis. All-in-all, I'm pretty happy with how it came out and I can't wait to run it!!
JC should pay you for the developement work! ahahah.
I'll trade my R&D work for another J82 body. This was a test fit and now I know what areas I need to cut out.
Just wanted to add that I'm running a CC Sidewinder, Novak SS5800 motor (soon to be a CC 4600) and an Orion 3600 Race Spec. The Orion Race Spec lipo's are the only hard case lipo I've tried that fits the older XXT and XX chassis'.

"If it's only for fun; then take out the transponder?!"
I wish it would catch on around here, I want to run some 2wd in the summer time.
BARevo, where is Chardon? I'm hoping to run at Fastraxx in Springfield as well as their new outdoor track at the Hidden Springs Ranch. Maybe we could hook up to start a class.
Well, we're only 300 miles apart. Hopefully the class does catch on in Ohio. Seems like a perfect way for 2wd buggy guys to run on blown up 1/8 nitro tracks.
