orion 3200$.
 

Are these batteries any good i have some people at my local track running them and seems they are doing just fine.Any comments?:D

from what my signature you already know what im going to say...but if i wasnt an orion driver i would by the orion lipo..Orion lipo is the best one on the market by far...worth the buck...

go with the 3600 its better then the 3200 and looks just as kool

I agree with Joel. If you can aford it, go to the 3600. Just a little more runtime.

I have the 3200 and the 4800 from Orion. I'm not disappointed in either one of them.

i got 20 years of sub-c experience but im a lipo noob :) but from what i have read the 3600 gives extra capacity(no brainer) but its C rating is higher so it should be punchier then the 3200.

Misfit: Comparing your 3200 to your 4800 is the 3200 punchier? I heard that the 4800 was not as "race" oriented as the 3200? C ratings lower or something to that effect. Im sure for mod its not an issue but for stock it could be

the 3600 is much punchier than the 3200. And the 3200 was pretty punchy to begin with.

I have both the 3600 and three 3200's. I use the 3600 in my truck for the extra little bit of punch, and the 3200's for my buggy and practice sessions. I love them and wouldn't trade them for anything.

I haven't tried the 3600 but want to. I have 3 well 2 now (cause i blew one up, no i didn't over charge i put positive in negative and vise versa :cry: ). the 3200 are nice and i really like them.

Thanks for your honest opinions i have 2 3200 in the mail as i speak and the orion Avionix charger,going light to the track on sunday!:nod:

no soldering iron,no smart tray,no integy 030,just the new charger and tools and tires, and of course car!:ha::ha:

I have been running the lipo batteries for quite some time now..started with the 3200 and before christmas picked up a 3600. These are the best hard cased lipos on the market today. You will not be let down at the performance that they provide. The Orion charger is great too. plus you can shave about 20 lbs out of your r/c gear!

The only reason i went with the 3200's was b/c the of the prices.But you bet i'll be picking some of those 3600's up when i feel the 3200's start letting me down.which i doubt! thanks again! ORION ROCKS!:ha::ha:

No problem at all. You can charge it at your house before you go to the track. Ready to run in no time. You may consider getting a balancer. you get a little more punch if you balance it.

Thanks guys on all the imput.so just curious do you balance while charging how does this work since all i have run is the nimh for like eight years discharge/equalize race and repeak for the mains. iknow people just bring their cars back in from a qualifier go corner clean their tyres and throw the charger back on the lipo's!??...:tire:

I let my friend use it and he said he get more punch too.

It is very easy, just connect the charge leads of the balancer to the charger, push one or two button on the balancer it will charge and balance at the same time.

I use the Trakpower balancer also and have had great luck with it. Can't say about more punch as I have never not used it.

On a side note the Trakpower batteries are great, they are Flightpower's car version and if you are a fly guy you know how good flightpower is!!!
