I've heard the LRP combo is silly fast...the sphere is a superior ESC to the novak IMO...a lot of the TC guys say it's smoother and faster.

I run Sphere comp07 and Novak 13.5sspro...feels great

The LRP motor is a good motor. The only problem has seemed to be reliability. I have seen a couple of LRP motors go up in smoke. I had 1 13.5 and 1 5.5 that both crapped out on me.

The 13.5 is really good on long fast tracks. It has a little more RPM than the others but just doesn't quite have the same torque as the Novak. You can get the torque out of it by adding a sintered rotor and ceramic bearings but by that time you have spent another $40 dollars. When you can just buy the Novak for the same money and use the $40 on other items.

Just my 2 Cents.
