Update on new OC indoor Track

Just wanted to update all of you who have replied to my previous posting...........

I have submitted my plan to the city of Orange and it is in there hands now to approve....

At this point the only stumbling block they see is that this unit I will be leasing only has 3:1 parking and should have 5:1, but don't loose heart, the city is very cooperative and is working hard to see that we can pull this off!

I should know sometime Monday 1/14/08 if I can do this..

we have a theater next door to our office in the same complex. It is in Irvine. One of the toughest city.

How they pulled the permit is that they say during work hours 8-5 MF, they have almost no people or minimal. after hrs and wkends is when they come, therefore they can fit 150 people or more into 4000 sq ft. they use up all the parking in our complex when they have a full house but only on wknd and after hours so they got approved. the parking is only 3-1.

maybe you can say you open from 3 or 4 PM during the wk so the parking ratio is not exceeded during work hours. In addition, you can say rc is a great hobby to keep kids occuppied so they stay out of trouble and drug.
