Trinity Buggy Grip...substitutes???
Trinity Buggy Grip is out of stock at my local shop and everywhere online.
Anyone know of a good substitute? |
Trinity`s Death Grip

diesel fuel. Put a little in a bingo dapper

belt dressing, you can buy it at walmart in the automotive section. I like it even better than buggy grip and it is much cheaper too.

I make 2 products similar to BG2. Reino's Ragu and Magic Marinade. Great on all rubber tires, offroad and asphalt. We have been using it for 2 years at our indoor hard packed clay track(Thunder Rc). It is available at teameamotorsports.com, axiommotors.com, and a few hobby shops here in Tennessee. I will ship direct if interested in volume order. Feel free to PM me for more info.

What is the main reason for using this? To soften up the tires a bit?
Geez, did not see the 1 year old dates...... |
I prefer trinity Zip-free over death grip and buggy grip 2
|
Believe it or not, WD-40 works well to soften up tires. All you have to do is spray them down during the week and throw them in a plastic bag.

has anyone ever tried syrup?

There's lots of good options, depending on your track. We have high bite clay inside in the winter. It's wheelie poppin' traction. Most of the guys use buggy grip. I love Zip Free. Death Grip and Zip Grip don't usually work for us - probably because of the winter green in it. You can also try motor spray, wd40, goof off, diesel fuel, and belt dressing. I've seen all used in certain situations.

i must agree with chris on this that Zip Free is a very good choice but i wouldnt say a second choice i use it more than buggy grip 2
