Any one know how to remove the powder coating from springs?

I've never removed it but I have died them black.

Put them in a jar with some laquer thinner and let them set a couple of days and it will wipe right off.

Grinder with a wire brush tool will strip it. Or you can boil them in water with some Rit dye tossed in to color them whatever you want.

Put them in paint stripper for 10-15 minutes and it will wipe right off.

break cleaner takes it right off i figured that one out by mistake. it got messy
