Default NIMH With GTB 3.5

How will this work. I am planning on using a nimh pack with the gtb 3.5 system. What pack should I use for best performance and run time. Or would using lipo batteries be alot better. Im plane on racing a little and alot of speed runs.

I ran top level NiMH2 on a large dirt banked oval with a 4.5 sintered rotor. Only got 40 laps of a 50 lap race. Batteries came of 165 F or so... way too hot.

These were Team Express packs only a month or two old - very low IR, very good packs, and they got too hot. I think a high capacity LIPO would be a better choice. By high capacity I mean 6,000 or more, preferrably 8,000.

it all depends on how much you are wanting to spend, but if that is not a problem i would go with the higher capacity lipo's. but then again it all depends on what kind of driving you are planning on doing
