Thumbs up Big Race Reminder - WinterFest Planet R/C

Just wanted to place a reminder thread out here for Planet R/C's annual WinterFest held Friday December 7th through Sunday, December 9th. We have always had a great turnout and I want to encourage anyone to come out and have a great time racing on a high grip indoor clay track located in Indianapolis, IN. In the past we have had great drivers at this race from Jesse Robbers, Ryan Cavalieri, Mike Truhe, Ryan Maifield, Dakota Phend, etc. This weekend, December 1st, is the WinterFest warm-up on the new layout that just went in. It's a good time to get your practice on as well as win prizes for first place in each A-Main class.

Link: http://www.planetrcraceway.com

Again, This weekend, Saturday, December 1st is Winterfest Warm-up. Winterfest itself takes place on December 8th, 9th. See Link for all details.

Thanks Chris. Also thanks for helping with the remodel.
Andy if you're looking I'll have Winterfest tshirts in this week or 1st of next. Lemme know how many you want. Choice of colors again!

Just a guess. Medium no problem. We're getting red and green, but I haven't seen the actual shirts yet. Check the flyer for an idea. I can PAYPAL an invoice if you decide. I think the logo is great and you know they are good quality shirts. You guys are having a race the same weekend as Winterfest so if you get any coverage maybe I'll see a Planet shirt in there somewhere

One red and one green?

A paypal invoice works, I'll shoot you a pm with it.

It will be. Crossed fingers. Last year we had a bad cold snap, and heater issues kept me from getting the place up to temp. Its all good. If temps are keeping you from a great race then check out knitting. You can even cozy up under a blanky while enjoying your new hobby

Mike, I thought you were referring to him trying a "new hobby" under the blanket! Between here and and the planet forum, there has been too much crude humor (mostly on my part). I am planning on bringing a mini heater for my pit area in case it is cold. I'm planning on trying it out tomorrow (if its needed). Back to Winterfest, the layout looks fun, the race should be sweet. I'm excited.

Crude humor?! In a race environment?! No way! I'm thinking of putting a crude joke thread up.

Looks like I probably won't be able to make this one unless we get some bad weather. Regardless I should be able to make a qualifier or two on Sat, but unless its raining, or snow on Sunday I will have to work. RAIN RAIN COME NEXT WEEKEND! haha

We had a good turn out for the warm up race last nite. Lots of preentries. I'll try to post a list soon. Remember the only penalty for entering day of is you'll have to pay for a shirt.

Weather outlook says I should be able to race both days, prob not till the exact start time, but race none the less. Mike do me a favor and make sure you don't start early! haha
