I could be wrong but it might be b/c (to my knowledge) Checkpoint doesn't make a 10.5

McDonough is on to something there.

This is not a ROAR sanctioned race. They can arrange the classes however they choose. I think that this track has a locally strong 19t brushed class.

locally they have a LARGE 19t turnout, but it's NOT all brushed. Buncha guys running Novak and Mamba's in that class, they just stay quiet about it...

the fastest local guys at lhr run 19t motors in the 19t class. period.
the race is based on rc pro rules which only allows brushless in the mod classes, the exception in the rules is that lipo is legal in all classes. if you want to attend the race stop complaining that 10.5 isnt allowed and buy one 19t motor or just stop complaining and dont attend

I am going to try and attend this race. What is the most common used 19t around there? I have never ran 19t so it is new to me. I will probobly also run the Lipo truck class. I will also be running a Lipo in the 19t class.

We have 30-40 19t trucks weekly at Leisure Hours. 2 people this past weekend used 10.5 and had no advantage over the brushed motors. Top 5 were all brushed/nimh. There is a mix of motors being used. I'm using a Komodo geared 18/87 with very good results......

i used to run a komodo until i got the 10.5 i got it mainly because performance wouldnt fade after three qualiferys and i wouldnt have to cut it for the main.
my laptimes are about the same as when i was running the komodo

Easy there big guy....all you had to say was the part about following the rc pro rules. Makes sense.
