Check out the pinion gear on the motor. Anybody recognize it? I'm not to familiar with all the different pinions out there, but I'm thinking that Novak will be releasing it's own line of pinion gears.

The GTB system is based on 540 sized motors suitable for 1/10 scale stadium trucks and buggies. It would melt in a 1/8 buggy.

The pinion shown looks like a Century helicopter pinion.

I have the hv in my e-revo. The only thing I see between the 4.5 & 6.5 is 4.5 has a little more top end.

I've talked with Novak techs in the past, and they are working on 5mm motor shaft. the issue is with the current esc- motor combos. the esc is very non ajustable and basicly outdated for use in these setups.castle & tekin are on the verge of releasing the" right tool for the job!"That's where novak needs to go to do right by the consumers in this venue. Not like the recent releases of their's over the last year or so. I heavily promote brushless- lipo at my track and surrounding ones and seen a few guys are turned off by the unrelability of there product lately!customer service needs to start when the customer opens the package! I've been a big novak fan from my first ss-5800 and just of late looked at others for equiptment that does what I need it too. They'll need to upgrade to be anywhere near as good! My experienced .02

I think it is great for the leader in the industry of brushless systems and very well recognized name by all racers (including nitro) like Novak to provide a great complete conversion kit including the motor and esc for an economical price with a great customer service to back it up!

Thank you Novak!!!!

Looking forward to them coming out in January and getting one for myself!
