Hells bells, Can you guys grow up? That's just a load of exaggerated childish piffle. Should be ashamed of yourself.

This thread doesn't need this crap, and a couple of posts on another forum doesn't warrant it.

Perhaps your a little immature to comprehend that you don't get to police peoples views just because they differ from your own?

Either way there are now more posts in this forum about me thanks to you guys then what I have made here about the DB01.

Something to think about perhaps?, Ding ding?

If it makes you feel big go make a thread about me so others don't have to read it when they are expecting the talk to be about RC cars.

Can this car use Associated or JConcepts wheels? I would like to get someone started into 4WD and give him some tire/wheel sets I run with my B44 to help him even a bit. Thanks.

Yes it should be able to. It uses the Losi xx4 style wheel fittings front and rear which is pretty much standard on all 4wd buggies now.

im planning to get 3-racing c-hubs for the 501x. my questions are:

this is a direct fit on the durga, right? the only difference is the horizontal camber link placement on the c-hub, instead of vertical (for stock), meaning i can use the stock ball stud, right?

thanks in advance for any info

Metla, if you want to sell it, pm me a price.

With regard to the car, it will be fast enough for most people, just don't expect it to be making the Worlds A Final.

I can't imagine buying a second hand car from New Zealand would make any economic sense but....yeah.

I recommend to any body who is a Durga owner that you buy the aluminum suspension mounts that 3racing makes. They are available for the front and rear and make the buggy feel more solid. The quality of the material ( aluminum) Is very good. Does anyone own the new dampers for the Durga? Mine are on the way from stella as we speak.

alright guys, i have read the forum and seen all the arguments against the durga and 501X, but i am a budget weekend racer.

my budget in mind, has anyone ever thought to compare the Durga chassis to the DF03 chassis as far as a weekend racer goes. i dont race anything competitively, just weekend club meetings.

to me the Durga is like and off road version of the TA05.

and an equal comparison the DF03 would be a class like a TB01.

am i way off?

i understand the obvious differences in the two chassis's, but wanted one or two opinions from you all.
thanks
-Mike

the durga is far superior on the track compared to the df-03. by the time you get a df-03 chassis suitable for the track(i.e. shocks, better diffs, bearing set, slipper and kawada conversion to run 48p gears etc...) you will have already over spent the price it would have taken to get the durga and the slipper kit...

Any of you have problems with the Front Right wheel hex stripping?

It seems that the Front Right wheel nut tend to loosen up quite often..

Suggestions / Comments?
