Ball Diffs Vs Bevel Gears- Evader
I have an evader and no matter what I do
I always have problems with the diff.
All my nitro cars that are bevel gears are fine, never had a problem with diffs on nitro cars.
Are all ball diffs the same?
Is the evader a crap design?
Did I overtighten the slipper clutch and kill the diff?

This is how I build my diffs and they seem to work amazing. First off, I pick up a can of white greese, comes like wd-40 but its made for heavey duty aps. Build the diff to standard specs, but for the thrust bearings I use the white grease, you can gob it on the thrust bearings too. Now, when you tighten the diff go and run through a tank of fuel at 1/4th throtle while holding one wheel, and then do the same for the other wheel. This will seat the balls in the diff. Next go and retighten the diff acording to the instructions. Now, go and find a way to lock the spur gear. You want to have the slipper slip and not the diff at all. You also want to spin the rear wheels and have the front of the car lifting up w/out anything slipping, but close to slipping. Now every so often check to make sure your slipper is slipping and not your diff.

Mate you are the best.
I cant thank you enough.
I just did not give up, i tried rebuliding the diff about 15 times, but still had problems.
