Default Brushless conversions for Jammin CRT .5

Who makes a bolt on conversion for the Jammin CRT .5, also, I have heard of newer chassis designs that allow standard servos, would want the conversion for that.

bce sells a chassis that allows you to use standard servos
or you could buy the rtr crt.5 chassis, I think it allows you to use a standard steering but a mini throttle servo

So Craps, are you guys looking into doing the whole brushless CR .5 thing with 1/10 scale truck wheels and tires? Seems that would give you what you are looking for.

Thumbs up jammin' crt .5 conversion

As far as bolt in Jammin' CRT .5 conversions are concerned, I have found my choice...the Jammin' CRT E.5 Conversion Kit offered by Blue Groove RC Concepts (www.bluegrooveconcepts.com). They left it up to me to choose what speed control/motor combination I wanted to use AND I can use a full size servo without drilling any extra holes into the chassis. This kit includes all the plates and brackets needed to convert the Jammin' CRT .5 from race roller or nitro to an E.5.

If I do it I think I may go with the RC Monster kit. It looks like its the most versatile for the money. Especially since it allows you to adjust the mount to your battery type, and is extended too.

Thumbs up

I saw the RC Monster chassis. It's nice. I am holding out for an extended chassis from Jammin'. I am trying to keep it as close to stock roller as possible. That way, if I want to convert back to nitro, I can just take out the Blue Groove plates and put all of my nitro stuff back in...I don't forsee a switch back anytime soon though.

How many people have one. Im currently looking at getting one and alot of people are saying that the 5700 with 2s would work as it will get to hot. Is this correct? What setup is everyone running?

Default 5700

Drft_Buggy- My friend has one with a 5700 and a lipo and I ran it for 12 minutes the other night and it wasn't to hot when it came off. It shouldn't get hot as long as its geared right. It works real good in the truck I will have one when I can afford it.
later Jeremy

No, it's a truck. and it's WAY more durable than any electric 4wd buggy on the market.

I have drove the blue groove crt.5 It had the traxxas brushless system with a 11.1 maxxamps 5000 I drove the car for twenty five minutes it was a blast. I also drove the e-revo conversion kit that he is coming out with you can still use the brake servo and center diffs with his kit.
