5 cell 4WD?

I've got a HB D4.
Would it cause any problems if I run 5 cells? by battery placement?

I'am running my GTB, receiver and servo on the same side.
so where should I place the 2 cells? at the servo side??

Best regards, Thom

I'm guessing that your switching from tcs to 4wd mod so your just trying to use the same packs from class to class? If you don't have a good balancing jig then I would just find an extra cell and stick it in your chasis for the weight so that it is balanced to factory specs. If you get a good balancing jig then you can go and play around w/ the weights on all 4 wheels, but if you aren't good at balanding a car then just add an extra cell for weight only. Otherwise I would just use 6 cells.

put the 2 cells on the side that the motor is mounted

Is there any particular reason why you want to go to five cells? If it’s a speed issue why not try a slower motor?

Given the choice, I think 6 cells is much better in 4wd...
