Default Installing TC5 hop up Spool/Building TC5 DRIFTER

Need some advice on building a TC5 Spool kit (Hop up) it comes with 2 plastic parts that I am clueless how to install. Also, Building this TC5 for a drifter and shop guty told me to put this locked spool on the rear? any suggestions in general for building a drifter with this car and please answer these questions. Thank you

Hey redtide,

The little plastic u shaped bits are called pin cushions and they pop over the pins on the end of the cv dogbone. They protect the aluminium spool from being damaged by the cv's. A word of warning though, the AE pin cushions are pretty fragile so I suggest getting yourself a few extra bags of them.

Sorry, I don't know anything about drifting

Have you tried posting this thread in the electric onroad forum? This is the offroad forum and you may not get much advice over here.
