The tamiya TL01, TT01, TB01, TB02 all work well as rally platforms.
Side note: You must be smoking crack if you think east coast skiing is tougher than west unless youve never been out west. West coast has cement to ski through, not to mention the fact that the runs can be 10x longer if your out skiing in the bowls. I havn't went skiing in 5 or 6 years because I refuse to ski on the crappy east coast mountains. There is no way anybody that knows can think the east has anything on the west when it comes to slopes.
