The tapers aren't bad as slicks either, but you probably won't run them with much, if any, tread for the winter race. The club track right now isn't bad with the tapers though if you plan on coming for any club races.
no,i am 8 hours away. but i race slicks weekly so it would be great if thats how the track is then. but i will just bring some ribs for front to. but i have found taper slicks pretty comparable to a very well ground down pair of ribs.

Will definitely be down again this year. I will be running mod 2wd and mod truck. Last year I only ran mod truck and my tire of choice was pink tapers in the rear with just a little of the bars still showing in the middle with at least bomb 1 foams. For the front I was using either sanded tapers or sanded directionals with trinity blue foams. Now I just to get some bigger motors the 7.5 I ran last year just wasn't enough.

i ran panther switches 2.0 on rear of truck and buggy in clay compound . i ran ribbed clays on front of truck and bobcats on front of buggy also in clay . i didn't touch them and i was dialed in my opinion.

If I read the rules correctly you can have a hardcase lipo OR a charging sack, so you can run a sof case lipo but have to use a charging sack?

Soft case are ok, but you will need to charge them in a battery bunker or lipo sack.

I would plan on going. I ran in 2003 when I think it might have been the biggest draw that I know of and then again last year.

Going again this year and running stock buggy and stock truck, plenty of time to do both.

It is awesome track, organizers and kick a$$ raffle and atmosphere. I think they had a pizza trailer there and some other types of food also. Hopefully it is in the same building as last year.

It is nice to see the pro guys out there and check there stuff out and talk to them on set-ups and whatever. Funny seeing the Cali guys where shorts and black socks with sandles when it is snowing out - damn west coasts guys......

Should be a good event with suprises!!!

How big is the pit area? Would like to come out for electric. Maybe get there last day for controlled practice. Wanna make sure don't get there too late and not find space to pit.

If not I will just be the pit crew for my friend.

CRCRC is one of the best races of the year for sure. They always have awesome track layouts and the show is run very smooth. I cant wait to run the Kyosho 2wd/4wd this year!

There is a large pit area and if needed you could pm someone going there and have them save a spot.

Most everyone there is accomodating.

You can park close to the building also so you do not need to walk a mile to get in.

This maybe a stupid questions; but are table, chairs and electric provided? I assume electric is, but I'm not sure about the table and chairs.

Thanks
